Residencial Amusa Mare is a luxurious development of two bedroom, one bathroom maisonettes in the beautiful town of Caulonia.
The development boasts a communal swimming pool surrounded by exquisite landscaped gardens.
Caulonia perches atop a hill that rises some 300 meters from the Ionian coast and sits between two rivers, facing the sea. The breathtaking scenery surrounding the town has made Caulonia a popular spot since Roman times. The town boasts Byzantine frescos, a Norman castle and some interesting architecture.
Caulonia might be an unusual setting for a film festival, but it hosts the Festival Del Giovane Cinema Italiano in July, which has attracted such Italian luminaries as Giovanni Tornatore, who made the Oscar winning Cinema Paradiso.
The film festival has recently celebrated the career of Leopoldo Trieste, a Calabrian actor who starred in Tornatore's paean to the everlasting magic of movies.
